UO's Environment Initiative: Working Toward a Just and Livable Future

Join the University of Oregon for a reception on Tuesday, November 15 at McMenamin's Kennedy School Mina Parsons Room, 5:30-7pm. Adell Amos, Executive Director for the UO's Environment Initiative, will present on the university's efforts to conserve, preserve, and sustain our environment. We'll provide hosted beer and wine plus light bites for you to enjoy as we share what UO is doing to create a more just and livable future.

We're excited to share the work we're doing, spurred by the urgency of climate change and the need for environmental justice. UO's Environment Initiative aims to leverage the intellectual energy and endeavors of faculty, students, and community partners towards societal contribution through transdisciplinary research, teaching, and experiential learning.

This reception is part of our Oregon Effect Series, an outreach initiative letting folks around the state know what University of Oregon is doing to improve the lives of everyday Oregonians by bringing faculty and researchers into the community for small-group discussions.
