President Michael Schill reflected on his first three years at the University of Oregon during a recent interview on UO Today, discussing topics such as the institutional hiring plan, groundbreaking on the Black Cultural Center, UO Portland and scholarships.  

Schill said that over the last year one of the university’s key achievements was work on the Phil and Penny Knight Campus for Accelerating Scientific Impact. The progress included groundbreaking, the start of construction on the first two buildings and the arrival of new executive director Robert Guldberg.
