Join us for University Day at the Capitol!

Oregon's public universities are a path to opportunity for thousands of Oregonians. Join students, alumni, faculty, and staff from Oregon's seven public universities to advocate for high-quality, affordable, accessible public education in Oregon during University Day at the Capitol on February 9, 2022.

This year, University Day at the Capitol will be taking place primarily online with advocates meeting with legislators via Zoom and Microsoft Teams. Each advocate will be paired with a group and receive a short orientation and talking points in advance. Each meeting lasts approximately fifteen minutes, and groups will just have a couple of meetings throughout the day.

Never lobbied before? That's A-OK! We'll make sure you are well prepared to be an advocate for the students of today and tomorrow.

For questions or more information, please contact Kimberly Koops, Associate Director of Advocacy at [email protected] or 541-393-7826 (call/text).

Fill out this form to sign up as an advocate! The deadline to register is February 4th.
