The University of Oregon and Oregon State University are proud to announce the launch of Oregon Digital, a cultural heritage repository that brings together more than 500,000 digitized works from both universities, including unique digitized and born-digital collections. This collaborative effort includes historic and modern photographs, manuscripts, publications, and more.

The new Oregon Digital features an updated look, feel, and functionality that provides users with an enhanced user experience. The collections from OSU include historic photographs, yearbooks, and a complete archive of the student newspaper, providing a unique window into the university's rich history. Collections from UO include the Angelus Studio photographs of the Pacific Northwest, historic sheet music, manuscripts, and art from Special Collections and University Archives.

Oregon Digital is more than just a repository of digitized works. It is a growing resource that supports teaching, research, and general browsing. The repository will continue to expand, adding new and unique collections from both universities, making it an invaluable resource for the state of Oregon.

"We are thrilled to launch Oregon Digital and bring together the cultural heritage collections of two of the state's premier universities," said Alicia Salaz, Vice Provost and University Librarian, at the University of Oregon. "This repository is a valuable resource for scholars, students, and the general public, and we are proud to provide access to these important collections."
