Attend a Townhall

One of the most effective—and most underutilized—ways to communicate directly with Members of Congress, state legislators, and local elected officials is to attend their townhall meetings. Policymakers take to heart what they hear directly from constituents who make the effort to show up at a town hall meeting.

Attending a townhall and asking questions related to UO's legislative priorities is a great way to support students and the university. If you're interested in attending a town hall, we encourage you to email UOAdvocates@uoregon.edu to get a list of sample questions related to our current agenda. We are also happy to help answer any questions you may have.
